Dating back to the 18th-19th centuries, Westin Europa & Regina hotel offers Venetian opulence set within its 4 historic residences and the San Moise theatre.
On the Grand Canal, opposite Sta Maria della Salute, this 4-star hotel’s two entrances are linked by a magnificent gallery with black and white polychrome floors, moulded stucco work and impressive Murano glass chandeliers, leading out to the canal.
The 175 rooms and suites are also elegantly appointed with pastel décor and Venetian-style painted furniture. All rooms feature the famous Heavenly Bed. Some have balconies and terraces.
Let your eyes wander over the world map in the exquisite Grand Salon, and sample traditional Venetian food in La Cuisina. «Who would've known such a beautiful building could be hidden in one of Venice's little side streets. The hotel entrance is tricky to find, but its a wonderful surprise. Go through a quiet courtyard to the stunning hotel, just beside the Grand Canal.
