A former 19^th century palazzo, the Hotel Accademia is located in one of the many small streets leading to the famous Trevi fountain where it is customary to toss a coin turning your back to the fountain so as to be sure to retain one day to the eternal city. (The money, incidentally, is collected by charities.)

You are welcomed in the foyer by elegant marble, wood fittings, Chesterfield sofas and furniture. The same tones and colours can be enjoyed in the luminous breakfast room where the sombre nuances of the fittings are flood by Roman sunlight through the large skylight and in the private lounges with its original beams and walls decorated using the former palazzo’s original brickwork and which now houses this three-star hotel.
