Built at the end of the 19^th century and converted into a hotel in the 1920s, the Hotel Savoy was named after Marguerite of Savoy, the first queen of Italy who was often a guest there. Such an illustrious past attracted Federico Fellini, who shot the film Ginger and Fred in this four-star hotel.
