The hotel Michelangelo is in a modern 17-floor tower block overlooking Milan’s central station. It was opened in 1931 and has a long 200m façade in an indefinable style - very art deco…
You enter the world of simple Milanese modernity which characterises 4-star hotels from a certain era, with the clean lines of the blue sofas in the lounge next to the reception area... The basement breakfast room offers a well-stocked buffet, and with its rattan chair seating, the Il Ghirlandaio restaurant and its chef Fabio Lisco offer guests a range of hot and cold dishes and home-made cakes. And then there is David’s Bar, with dark wood panelling, black leather sofas and stools and a touch of chrome. Barman Renato Ghezzi is there to serve you the best Italian cocktails…
The 306 rooms are decorated in simple lines, with restful colours and warm shades of walnut furniture which combine well with the sky blue, green, yellow and faded pink fabrics and carpets. Most of the bathrooms have 70s-style tiles and a Jacuzzi-bath, and only 20 have a shower.

«Attractive hotel right by the train station and close to the bus stop for the airport shuttles. Impeccable service in the restaurant. The spacious rooms and jacuzzi baths are more than agreeable! » See all commentsCustomer scores Average Mark 8.6/10 Recommendation Rate 96 % Number of Reviews 51 |
