The Royal Garden Hotel is just outside Milan, in Assiago, renowned for Mirafiori, an immense shopping area and congress centre.

The hotel was built in 1995 by the architect Don Ashton who, with respect for the immediate environment, has created a structure where glass dominates and natural light is diffused everywhere, right in the heart of a park decorated with fountains and palm trees.
Inside, a large shaft of light illuminates the entrance hall of this 4-star hotel, with its 22m high glass roof- a source of light around which the Royal Garden Hôtel is built. And… spiral staircases take you down to the enormous veranda and the Blue Crab restaurant, which is in the middle of a winter garden and offers international dishes with an Italian influence, like the fried crab salad on a bed of taglierini with a roquette cream. Next door there is a lounge and the Captain’s bar, with warm panelling, which reminds you of the sea.
Another spiral staircase takes you up to the 154 rooms, spread out along the hanging corridors.
There are standard and superior rooms and a few suites with lounges, with Italian decoration – moulding, cornices, yellows and greens…
