The Una hotel Cusani was built in 1973, right next to the Castello Sforzesco, the square-shaped castle from the middle ages, symbol of the power of the town’s lords.

The Una hotel Cusani is not far from the pedestrianised shopping street Via Dante, which links the hotel to the Duomo square in a very agreeable manner. The hotel is hidden behind a glass and steel façade, brightened up by touches of green, and is a welcoming place with simple furniture and an attention to detail. 
In the entrance hall, an agreeable quantity of light comes from the ceiling. There is warm-coloured mahogany wood panelling and comfortable leather sofas in brown shades are located under the skylights.
The same warmth is found in the restaurant. There is mahogany everywhere, on the pillars and the walls, and this contrasts in an elegant manner with the red-edged white napkins. Chef Michel Atanowsky, who is from Alsace, offers international cuisine combined with unexpected influences, like in his basmati tart or his loin of lamb with Dijon mustard.
The same atmosphere is found in the Una Café bar, with an almost English elegance, and also in the refined simplicity of the 92 rooms and suites, with their 3m-high ceilings.
