The hotel Florida is nestled in a quiet alley not far from the central station and 127m-high Pirelli skyscraper, symbol of Milan and an example of the Italian rationalist movement of the 60s, designed by its most famous member, Giò Ponti.

This 3-star hotel welcomes you with a simple, ‘designer’ look – pale shades on the walls, marble floors, leather sofas and touches of darker shades of colour. 
Oil paintings and drawings by abstract painter Mauro Reggiani are also plentiful.A simple atmosphere which is reflected in the dark furniture and light walls of the bar, reception desk and breakfast room, which you get to via an iron staircase and which looks out onto a courtyard of greenery.
The 55 rooms including 2 top-floor suites also keep to the same simplicity. With parquet flooring or carpet, restful colours, flowery fabrics in shades of green and blue, bathrooms with bath or shower and a living room in the suites.
